Boca Raton: Explore it with Your Favorite Limo

Palm Beach County may have a reputation for being a haven to the elderly, but rest assured, there is something there for all ages. Boca Raton, for instance, has a number of fantastic destinations available for your perusal – one of which I will focus on today: The Boca Raton Resort and Club.

The Boca Raton Resort and Club is like a city to itself. It was founded by Addison Mizner (a colorful local tycoon who weighed 300 pounds and had a penchant for silk bathrobes) in 1926 as The Cloister Inn. The original Cloister has since been joined by an entire village of other resort-related buildings, including the Spa Palazzo. It is a perfect destination for honeymoons, anniversaries, or just regular vacations. There really is something for everyone in this complex – I will describe some of the most notable below.

As far as restaurants go, you have your choice of at least six, with fare running the gamut from French to Southwestern. The potato-truffle crusted shrimp at 27 Ocean Blue are amazing, but there isn’t a bad restaurant among them – they really are the finest in Boca Raton.

The picks for entertainment are equally as diverse, with such attractions as the Boca Country Club (featuring two 18-hole golf courses), a 27-slip marina with fishing and boating opportunities, an impressive 50,000 sq. ft. spa (always a hit with the ladies and metrosexuals), Malone’s Magic Bar (which features fantastic slight-of-hand-style magic), and a long stretch of private beach. If the beach isn’t your cup of tea, there are six separate swimming pools (why five would not suffice, I cannot say). Everything is opulent beyond belief, and really has to be seen to be believed.

What could possibly make a trip to the Boca Raton Resort and Club better? Well, my professional opinion is riding to and from the resort in a limousine from Millenium Limo. Why not start the vacation early and keep it going a little longer? With Millenium, you’ll do just that. If you want to be pampered, check out the Boca Raton Resort and Club, and keep Millenium Limo in mind for getting there.
